Collection: Victoria Juul

Victoria Juul, who is behind Handmade by Victoria Juul, wants to bring art into the home. She works to break the traditional framework for how service should look. For her, ceramics should create eye-catching and start conversations. With that, she wants a remarkable look rather than perfection.

This is what Victoria says:

"I see my little universe as a bubble of slow-made imperfect craftsmanship in the midst of a culture of mass production. I work in stoneware, which is fired at high temperatures. This makes the ceramics resistant and can withstand both dishwashers and microwaves and can be left outside in wind and weather. Ceramics is a painstaking process. Each piece of ceramic is handmade down to the smallest detail. Each thing is in my hands at least 10 times before it is finished."
